The blight post isn't included in the recipe menu for quick turning on or off.
It makes it frustrating to remove combustible ingredients like coal and oil from production in order to save them for later or to fulfill payments and orders. You currently have to remember to go to the blight post in addition to this menu.
I think that the blight post should be on this menu as well.

+1, it would be so nice to set a limite for its production, also because it takes a lot of woods to produce them, and it would be nice to keep it under control. Thanks!
Title is descriptive - I do not currently see a way to save the global production maximum for Purging Fire production, because Purging Fire is not included in the recipe screen.

Same problem, different perspective. I noticed I was having wood struggles, so I checked Recipes -> Ingredients -> "Wood". Purging Fire was absent from this list, so I wasn't able to diagnose my the wood shortage. It feels like the UI hid it from me, which is not a good feeling.
It should also show up under Fuel & Exploration in the Recipe Categories, since it shows up there in the top of screen inventory overlay.

A global production cap for Purging Fire

Almost any item in the game can have a global production cap set in the Recipe Panel, but Purging Fire can't.
Unless there is a good reason for this, you should be able to do this for Purging Fire as well.

Currently you can only set a local limit for purging fire production. I wasted much wood on a run where I overproduced :(

So that you don't have to set a limit every game.

Yes please. I hate it when I forget and suddenly I have no wood and a massive amount of these. It can almost ruin a tight run.
