Ghost of a Beaver Engineer should not reset so aggressively

The spirit "Ghost of a Beaver Engineer" requires me to deny lizards various consumption for 10 minutes. This counter resets even if I temporarily and accidentally reenable their consumption *while paused* and then switch it off again before unpausing. This happened to be 3 times in a row now. It would be great to get a warning, but in any case it would be good if actions while paused didn't affect the 10 minute continuous period required.
