in the encyclopedia it would be nice to have a break down of where things are made. IE: Pickled Goods in brewery, granary, etc... It took me forever to figure out where to make porridge.

Hi. You can already do that in the game using the recipe panel (the third button from the right in the top right corner of the screen). You can type in any item name and see where it's used or what it produces (you can toggle between ingredient and product with the toggle next to the search bar).
To view recipes for goods you can't currently make (because of a missing building), just check the "Show All" checkbox.
