Problem: As a P20 player, I've only been able to interact with this mechanic once, despite rushing to open forbidden glades as soon as possible. If the mechanic exists but players can't meaningfully engage with it, then it should be reworked. The giant resource node should act as a reward. However, it's locked behind an RNG that the player has very little control of.
Proposed Solutions:
1. Add a glade event or a glade event chain to unlock the required gathering building.
2. Indicate which Forbidden Glade contains which node. It could be done in various ways, such as introducing a special (scout) building unique to the Marshlands map. Players should receive the information early enough to plan accordingly. If it arrives too late, they may have already chosen an inappropriate blueprint or started pathing in a different direction.
3. Make the node harvestable with a T1 gathering building but with limited rates or restricted access to bonus resources. Alternatively, a resource would be required to mitigate the T1 penalties. Something similar to the Fishing Hut + Pack of Crops mechanic.
4. Add a single rebuildable T2 gathering building corresponding to the giant resource node.
5. Make the blueprint for the node always available from traders once the player reveals it.
Personally, I'd be in favor of the first or second solution. It would add uniqueness to the mechanic and the map.

I second this, at higher difficulty levels obtaining the proper blueprints/nodes is incredibly variable and usually not worth it for the giant nodes. At lower difficulties it seems balanced because of the much higher selection of blueprints, but at P20 it requires a lot of luck.
