Hi! Unfortunately, a traditional save/load system with multiple save files (allowing you to go back to any point in a settlement or previous settlements) is highly unlikely. This was a deliberate design choice from the beginning of the project. Some of the core ideas of Against the Storm are "play the hand you're dealt" and "live with the consequences", and allowing free saving and loading would go against those principles.
