Stop Villagers from eating certain foods.

As far as I can tell the resource lock only prevents villagers from taking resources if they need it for a production, but not from eating. In trying to do quests/tasks that need food, my villagers won't take a non-quest food and so I can't stockpile up on the needed resource. It would be nice if the resource lock prevented any of it from being taken for any reason.

There actually is a way to stop them from eating that food. Consumption control (cauldron icon on the top right). It needs to be unlocked in meta progression.
