Use any item for recipe

Sometimes I don't care what good the villagers use to make something, and I don't want to manage using stone vs using clay for example so it would be great to have an "any good" option.

To be short: is it possible to have a chekbox, which auto switch recipes to the existent goods?

For sure, experienced players can maintain supply chain in mind. But since you are a beginner, maybe it is useful to give an option to auto-utilize of the goods you have?

This is a nice suggestion and to go along with this, It would be nice if a little notice popped up when a building switches to a different resource. "Smithy 2 has begun using Copper Bars" etc

I have the same issue. I would prefer a priority based system though. (If there is enough clay use clay, if not use stone instead)
