Absurd, but want more of this universe

I've got 71 hours in this game, and it's so different from anything else on the market. It's engaging, tense, and offers plenty of room for player improvement and gameplay loop refinement. It's a truly unique city builder that feels like a reconstruction of the city builder genre.
Praise aside, I would love to learn more and see more of the universe Eremite created. Going through ATS, I can't help but be reminded of older RTSs like WCIII or CnC.
I feel like war or combat is pretty antithetical to this postapocalyptic, rainpunk world, but I also feel like there is potential given the multiple species, atmosphere, forces of nature, and the everpresent villain/savior (Smouldering Queen).
It's late, I'm diving into a new update in ATS, I just saw the "suggest a feature" button, and failing to imagine one for the current game, this is something that crossed my mind. I love this game and what it does for the genre, and I would love to see what an Eremite TBS or RTS would look like. Lots of love to the team and keep doing whatever your creativity and skill leads you too.
