Change aoe for marking trees

I often feel myself highlighting trees for cutting and then removing highlighted trees on the side, to do a "surgical" cut to open the glades with minimum amount of trees cut. It would be great if it was possible to change the size of the tree highlighter (maybe with +- buttons on numpad) to make this one step instead of 3.
