I have my monitors lined up side by side, but even if this game starts in full screen, the mouse cursor movement is not restricted and moves to the next monitor, which interferes with camera movement.

Hey there! You can already do that in the game - simply open the options menu, and on the bottom of the "general" tab you will find a setting called "constrain cursor to window". Turning this on will prevent the cursor from moving to the other monitor.
