Let us use searcher or sorting by category for buildings in map view like we can do once inside a map

The title says it all, could we have a search field in the encyclopedia for the buildings ?
We could also imagine that we could type like "brawling" and all the buildings providing it woulds show :p

This, and also the ability to sort the buildings in the encyclopedia according to function rather than only alphabetical order, just as they appear on the bottom of the screen during the match.

Add a search function for the Encyclopedia. This would really help when making decisions on orders, among other things.

To expand on this, any menu where buildings/products are searchable could be a bit more robust. Would be nice to be able to search by product, ingredient, or keywords rather than just the building name. I can't remember every building that crafts oil when a wildcard blueprint shows up.

Encyclopedia isn't in alphabetical order so it's pretty hard to search that specific thing I wish to know.
Game has many things to learn for a new player I think it would help a lot.

Thanks for a great game!
My use case is as follows:
I am considering upgrading the "Dim Square Level 2" which gives me 5 planks as starting resources in a new settlement.
I would like to be able to go to the Encyclopedia and search for "Planks", to see what buildings this upgrade enables me to build.
I cant seem to find a search option in the encyclopedia.
Hope you make this possible.

Same here. Great suggestion. I am frequently presented with 'Amber' as a reward - but I have no idea what I can do with Amber. I don't see my amber count anywhere on screen and would love to be able to search the encyclopedia for this.

add a search option that directly links to the encyclopedia or simply a keyword search within the encyclopedia. As a new player this would help speed up the learning process for things that are not in the reciepes tab.

Similar to Civ, it would be good to have a search bar in the encyclopedia. It would be handy if this was global too, so I don't have to switch between tabs to look up something specific.

For example, I was trying to look up 'Rain Engine' and didn't know where to look (turns out I haven't unlocked it yet)

Hi Team!

I believe a search bar for the encyclopedia would be a great feature, also a feature where you get a tooltip for things like crystallized dew, copper bar, etc. to show what ingredients are necessary to craft them in specific workstations would feel like a huge quality of life improvement while planning your settlement in regard to the available resources.

On the encyclopedia menu it would be nice to have a search feature to be able to search some requirements.
For instance: "Biscuits" and it would show the required building

in the encyclopaedia just add a search box so we can search for instance 'wine' how it is made or at least a filter for how I can see it quicker

Add a search function to the Encyclopedia, specifically to the building tab and maybe the cornerstone tab. this would help if you need to check something about a building you all ready have with out scrolling though all of the options and potentially missing it.

Already requested at least once per day.
