There should be an option/toggle to end the fuel sacrifices after the storm ends.
Just what it says. It would be a nice checkbox to keep me from wasting a couple dozen coal every storm :/
Add a notification that your Hearth is sacrificing resources when it's the Drizzle/Clearance season (or have an option to have sacrificing automatically turn off, but the notification is less disruptive).
A toggle to have sacrifices cancel after the storm is over. Maybe 1 toggle for each fuel type.
This would be great. I sometimes space it and realize I've just pissed away a bunch of fuel when I don't have the hearth in my immediate view.
This is good advice, but after mastering the game usual way to use the sacrifice is to open it for a short time，
Yes, and the same thing for burning bone marrow during events - toggle it off when there are no events running or maybe set an alert to remind you when the dangerous events are over.
Fuel sacrificing could definitely use more control and a general buff. Right now it requires too much micro for marginal benefit and substantial risk. An end of storm option would be great but does not account for times such as glade events where it could also be useful. A fuel sacrifice timer or limit (ex: sacrifice coal for 30 seconds, max 50 coal sacrificed). I often forget fuel sacrificing exists because it is too much of a liability (especially for wood which has one of the most useful benefits) if you forget about it.
