It would be very nice to have a option in warehouses to define a global maximum for a resource to be produced. E.g. i may want to always have at least 50 Planks at hand, but not want my saw mills to produce more after that. Currently i have to set this produciton limit in each building individually, which has its utility, but a global limit (ideally even carried over between runs) that can be set in warehouses would be awesome as well.

This already exists (with saving between runs, too!), it's just in the Recipes panel rather than the warehouse.
Having a link between the two might not be amiss, though...
