Make it possible to assign workers with the ability to haul produce and goods in another section, perhaps a building. It would help alleviate wasted time for the workers who are assigned to work specific tasks.

Hi! There is already a feature like this in the game. It's unlocked in the Smoldering City (First Dawn Headquarters, levels 5 and 10). It allows you to assign workers to warehouses to serve as haulers.

Have a building for haulers that you can place next to small warehouses, that way they can haul goods from all around the area.
If the haulers are busy hauling, then the workers assigned will take over and deliver the produce.
It would also help at late game stage, I seem to have +30 villagers doing nothing but standing around, it would be great to have them haul.
