Hello! Due to the lack of workers, I often place only one worker per building, and when there are enough workers, it will be difficult to find where there is unoccupied workspace available.

Hi! You can already do something like this. Simply hold Alt to display the worker overlay. There, you will be able to quickly spot free workplaces and add workers on the fly.

to add on: when you click on the species panel, there's an overlay on all the buildings that shows how many spaces are used in each building. it's not documented anywhere, but it's useful.
