I love the game and plan to continue playing no matter what. But a little disappointed at the loss of progress. Hope that your team can get this issue sorted! Im a big fan of your game and cant wait to play more!

Hi again. I'm sorry you lost your progress. Since my last comment, some things have changed, so let me share some more info here.
Shortly after we released the game on PC Game Pass, we encountered a major bug on that platform that caused some players to lose their progress. It turned out to be an issue with the cloud save functionality of the Xbox app itself, and not a bug in the game, as several other titles have recently experienced similar issues (such as Lamplighters League or Wartales).
As far as we know, Microsoft is still working on this and looking for a fix on their end. Meanwhile, we have released a workaround (in patch 1.0.5) that adds an additional layer of local backups and ignores faulty cloud saves. You can read more about it here: go.eremitegames.com/AtS_Patch105
In this document you will also find some custom save files we have prepared, and instructions on how to apply them to your game.

Hi there! We are aware that some players are experiencing issues related to cloud save sync and infinite loading on PC Game Pass.
We reached out to Microsoft support to find a solution to this issue and will keep you posted on our progress. From what we've learned so far, they are actively working on a fix on their side.
One possible workaround for now is to restart your PC. This action triggers the cloud synchronization on the Xbox App, though it doesn't seem to work in all cases.
