More use for bricks

Right now the main 3 resources (Planks, Fabric, and Bricks) are unbalanced. Planks are the most useful for building stuff.

Yes it's true, buildings require slightly more Bricks: 41 buildings require Bricks. 33 require Fabric. Two of the service buildings require Bricks as their #1 material (Monastery and Forum) and none of them require Fabric as their #1 material.

But in terms of ongoing need for the three, Bricks are way behind. All three can be used in Pack of Building Materials. Planks are used in Training Gear, Barrels and Tools; Wood can substitute in Tools but not the others. (Although you can use Stone instead of Copper Bars or Crystallized Dew in Training Gear). Fabric is used in Coats, and it's the only ingredient. But nothing uses Bricks. It's true that Stone and Clay are ingredients in a lot of things (including Stone opening Caches), but the actual production is de-emphasized. New players love the Workshop, but it's often thought of as a trap at the higher Prestige levels. I think having Bricks be useful for more goods would be helpful to emphasize Bricks and the blueprints of buildings that produce it.

As currently conceived, there's not an existing recipe you could cleanly make consume Bricks. It seems like you're emphasizing Pack of Building Material in the upgrades; maybe they could be slightly cheaper in Bricks (or the upgrades could require Bricks in addition to the Pack of Building Material)? Other than that, I'd want to have one of the containers (Pottery, Waterskins, Barrels) require Bricks; you sort of achieve this with Pottery requiring Clay instead. I've always felt kind of icky about Clay and Stone not being interchangeable; I wonder if it would make sense to have some of those things just be Bricks instead (or in addition)?
