More visual warning before villagers leave

I often play simultaneously with a video, and sometimes I don't hear the low resolve villager leaving sound. A visual flash or flare, perhaps increasing in intensity, would go a long way.

This would also double as an effective accessibility feature for our hearing impaired fellow gamers, or anyone who needs to play on very low volume.
The portrait of the species flashing red (with an option to toggle this in the settings) would be a good visual clue.
