The modifier that allows (most) buildings to be moved without a cost, does not remove the move-cost for houses and farms. This knowledge snuck up on me when I was having fun playing with the modifier rearranging all the buildings around my Hearth... including the houses, when I was suddenly and rudely informed that I was out of wood.
Also, for what it's worth; the cost to move a building is deducted not when the building is PLACED, but INSTANTLY when the Move button is clicked, before the building is placed. This means if you click the move button and then reconsider it and hit escape to cancel, putting the building back where it was, you still pay the move cost.

You also pay the move cost when you place a house or farm construction site then move it one tile over, even though there's nothing there but an outline.
