No info on when cycle ends

A few times I ended the cycle too early as i didnt know i can attempt new town even with just one year and play until i finish it even if i play more years than remaining to the big storm. Please put that info in the game. I read on forums that most ppl understand that town would be finished with the end of the cycle.
