Shift+Click Copy Building when Building Details screen is open

Currently the Shift+Click copy building feature does not work if I have clicked into the building so that the building details pane is open on the right side of the screen. Then I need to hit escape to exit the building details before Shift+Click to copy will work. Quite often I have clicked into the building details when I decide to copy, and it's jarring for the shortcut to not work, then have to escape first.
