I think it'd be a nice addition to have some of the glade events have specialties. Maybe the putting in a species which has extra yield for the specialty lowers the working time, while putting a species that enjoys that specialty mitigates the working effect a bit (thinking in terms of events that directly lower resolve, it'd make sense for a species that works well to take less time, while a species that enjoys that type of job might lead to less fear/whatever). Probably it would best to not have these be huge effects, but I think it would add some additional flavor and uniqueness to the events.
On the flip side of things, more as an easter egg I guess - I always assign (ex.) harpies to the "fallen harpy scientists" event if I can, but it might make sense to dissuade doing that sort of thing.

Had a comment on a video suggesting that some Glade Events could have Species-specific bonuses (an example is Beavers and Fuming Machinery) that would either give bonus resources or speed up event completion (perhaps one for the productivity bonus and one for the comfort bonus).
