Add an additional Speed button to the game that allows playing it at half of the regular speed = x0.5.
With large population, it can feel overwhelming even at 1x to react to various occurrences. While one could just stop the game and make all the adjustments, I still would prefer here and there to just keep the game running which just lower speed to immediately see the effect instead of play stop play stop...
