once you unlock say, a trapper camp, you should be able to select your small trapper camp and upgrade it

Once you unlock a blueprint for an upgraded version of the camp, all the small versions are automatically upgraded without extra costs ^^
Yeah they automatically upgrade, you don't have to do anything
