Woodcutter's song buff disappears

I was up to year 8 in a main-branch game of the version released on 17th August (Sealed Contracts), prestige 20, on the sealed forest. My villagers all lost the effects of their 'woodcutter's song' buff that gives +resolve. See screenshot. Around the time they lost the buff I had discovered a small glade containing a Treasure Stag, but I'm not sure if that's related. They should have had +12 resolve. When a 5th stack applied they all gained +3, and when a stack dropped so it went back to 4, there was again no buff.

After dropping a stack and regaining one, the new one applies OK subsequently. Here for example I have +3 resolve, although I have 4 stacks of the buff.

Hmm I had this happen again later the same game, and I had not discovered a glade for a long while. Possibly just something that happens when you hit the 4th or 5th stack of the buff?
